The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has approved the Crimson Trace Lasergrips for use on handguns carried by Department members.

Personnel who wish to use this equipment must purchase the approved type of laser sight system at their own expense. Prior to using it, either on or off duty, personnel shall successfully complete the required training class provided by Weapons Training Staff.

LG-302 Beretta 92FS Pistol - Rubber wrap around type.
LG-101 Ruger SP101 Revolver - Plastic concealment type.
LG-205 Smith & Wesson J Frame Revolver - Plastic concealment type.
LG-305 Smith & Wesson J Frame Revolver - Rubber wrap around type.
LG-206 Smith & Wesson K,L,N Frame Revolver - Round butt frames only.
LG-207 Smith & Wesson K,L,N Frame Revolver - Round & square butt frames.
